Actually, the design works are on the stage of completion, and construction is planned for the year 2008.

The size of the Terminal Complex building, which shall meet to the high world requirements to the safety and service quality of the passengers, is to be 70 thou. of sq. m. It will give a possibility to provide the Airport capacity up to 2 000 passengers/hour. Alongside to the Terminal Complex the necessary objects of the airport special infrastructure will be located: apron, parkings for the non-flying facilities servicing the aircrafts, and complete infrastructure: approach road with viaduct, parkings for the passengers' transfer, hotels and office space.

It is expected that up to 2050 the Airport capacity can be 50 mln. persons per annum. And Boryspil will be transformed to the large European transit airport on a par with Istanbul, Wien, Moscow and Munich.
